Publish to Codeberg

One way to publish your website on the internet is to use Codeberg. Codeberg is not strictly a website hoster but a git forge to work and share code repositories. With Codeberg Pages these repositories can be turned into, simple hosted websites.

This tutorial shows you how to set up your own Codeberg account, create a repository, turn it into a Codeberg Page and push your HTML website automatically there via the Wobble Web sharing interface.

Create new repository

  1. Make sure you have an account at codeberg.org
  2. Sign in and create a new repository
  3. In the form enter a “Repository Name”
  4. Hit “Create repository”, your repository is ready now for content!

Publish

  1. Create your website with Wobble Web
  2. Click the “Share” button in the top right corner and select “Codeberg”
  3. Hit the “Authorize” button, you will be asked to sign in with Codeberg to authorize Wobble Web publishing content for you. Afterwards you will be redirected back to the Share dialog. You only need to do this step once.
  4. Select the repository where you want to publish your website. Follow the “Create new repository” steps if you don’t have one yet
  5. Hit the “Publish” button! Your website is now available!
