Create a zine

You’ve been writing poems but haven’t shown anyone yet? It’s become boring to share outfits and meals on social media? You’re a film critic but not enough people know about it? There are urgent political matters to discuss in your circle?

Put it into a zine and then share it with the world. Zines are self-made and non-commercial publications. You can make a zine (short for fanzine or magazine) about anything:

  • Opinions, journal entries, confessions, book reviews, film reviews, conversations
  • Short stories, poems, comics
  • Playlists, outfits, lists, moodboards, recipes, travel diaries
  • Activism, essays, distributing important information
  • Doodles, comics, collages, illustrations

It is empowering to publish your thoughts, experiences and opinions without oversight. Taking up space and circumvening usual publishing mechanisms (bosses, editors, policies) is a political act.

wobble : zine relation. Self-publishing a small website is a continuation of the tradition of zine-making.

We’re going to make a zine about the Dutch snack food I tried on my last vacation

  • Start a new page
  • Pick a background color and a text color
  • Give your zine a title

You can add images by drag-and-drop, or by “Add image” and your file picker.

The Anarchist Library is an archive focusing on anarchism and anarchist texts. You can browse their archive of texts, many of them zines, and also submit your own zine for archiving.
